Les obres de construcci\u00f3 de l\u2019actual depuradora transcorren entre els annys 1998 i 1999, per la qual cosa l\u2019actual depuradora ha estat en \u00fas uns 15 anys.<\/p>\n<p>Una E.D.A.R t\u00e9 com a funci\u00f3 principal recollir les aig\u00fces residuals d\u2019una poblaci\u00f3 o ind\u00fastria, i despr\u00e9s de certs tractaments i processos, la retorna en una llera receptora com un riu, embalsament, mar, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Es pot definir l\u2019aigua residual com la combinaci\u00f3 dels residuus l\u00edquids procedents de resid\u00e8ncies, institucions p\u00fabliques, establiments industrials i comercials, als que poden agragar-se, eventualment, aig\u00fces subterr\u00e0nies, superficials i pluvials.
